You've Got a Stew Going!

Your friend has invited you over for stew. He has not bothered to procure most of the ingredients.

The premise: you're a rat trying to gather ingredients for a stew, since your friend has put together the broth but is too lazy to assemble anything else.

Gardening for Beginners

Gardening for Beginners by Juhana Leinonen is a short speed-IF game describing the misadventures of a budding gardener.

What is supposed to be a peaceful and upbeat day of work quickly turns into a nightmare as the player is beset by the horrors of nature.

Blow Job Drifter

Al speaks: "I feel confident that I have tapped the vast majority of male heterosexual fantasy cliches and offensive female stereotypes. The lack of cheerleaders is only due to a forthcoming game concentrating entirely on that important subject. The object of this game is to solicit blow jobs from strangers who expect nothing in return, you are advised not to behave this way in your real life. You will hurt people's feelings and someone will eventually kill you." Possibly offensive to some.

Gamlet

Prepuberal Prince of Denmark wannabe peels the deep implementation layers of his parents' home. Exceptional atmosphere, flourishing prose and dark, dark humor abound.

Gamlet is a missed chance for a classic. It's deeply unsettling and funny at the same time, but the effect is somewhat spoiled by the ending sequence. The ending itself is mildly interesting, mainly because it reveals a lot about the game's author - which probably wasn't the intention of the author itself.

Murphy's Law

*Things are looking up! After decades of scrimping and saving, you've finally pulled yourself out of debt. The only thing left standing between you and financial independence is one last mortgage payment. What could possibly go wrong? *

Yes, Another Game with a Dragon!

An entertaining little romp that's sometimes straight fantasy and sometimes more akin to parody of fantasy, as indicated by the name (which adverts to the r*if community's well-aired dislike for games involving dragons). A few of the puzzles are a bit obscure, but most are both challenging and reasonable, and there's substantially more plot than the typical canonical fantasy game offers. Funny and well-written.

Zork: A Troll's-Eye View

Have you ever wondered how the life of a guard troll is? Find out in this game!

Another one-room joke game. You too can experience the boredom of a monster guarding a passageway!

This is a one room insider joke for everyone familiar with the original Zork trilogy.

Cheeseshop

An interactive re-creation of Monty Python’s Cheeseshop sketch, where you try to buy some cheese.

This is basically a one-joke game, but it wins over the player's heart by heaps of style, and flawless implementation. It also has a very satisfactory ending.
