Why do all components get lumped together in one place?

The Gridbag layoutmanager always agglomerates components in one spot if you do not specify a weight value for at least one component. To do so, simply add a "weight" and a "height" attribute to at least one table cell. Note: You should use a relative weight in percent and not absolute values. Furthermore, it's usually sufficient to only put a weight on a single cell.
